myNMU Tour
Screenshot 1
Shows the myNMU home page after signing in. You can search by registration, construction number, hex / selcal or owner / operator
Screenshot 2
The multi registration search enables you to search for up to 12 registrations at a time
Screenshot 3
The View my records displays a list of all your records. For now, no records are shown
Screenshot 4
The View my wants list displays a list of your wants. Again, for this example there are no records shown
Screenshot 5
The View latest updates displays the latest 100 records to be updated. In this example, G VIIC was updated on 07 Feb 10. The two icons, Δ wants list and ‡ my records will be explained later
Screenshot 6
For this example, we are going to search for G-VIIC. You will notice the prefix G is not entered in the searchbox. Select Regn and click the Submit button. Either upper or lower case characters may be used
Screenshot 7
Our search has returned a single record. If more than one record is found with the same registration, a list of all records found will be displayed. Simply select the one you are looking for. You will notice three links are shown within the found record, add to my wants list, add to my records and in the NOTES section [ add note ]. We are going to select add to my wants list. The other two will be explained later
Screenshot 8
We now receive a confirmation message the record has been added to our wants list
Screenshot 9
Selecting either display my wants list or View my wants list will now show the record in our list. To delete a record from here, simply click the Remove button. You will also notice a print list link. Clicking on this will open a window to quickly enable you to print out your list
Screenshot 10
The print out will contain only the relevant information, and not the whole web page
Screenshot 11
Returning to the View latest updates you will now notice the entry for G VIIC has an icon Δ displayed at the end, indicating that this record is in your wants list
Screenshot 12
We will now carry out a multi registration search. Enter the registrations required without the prefix, up to a maximum of 12, then click the Submit button
Screenshot 13
Our search has found the three registrations. You will notice again the icon Δ displayed at the end of the G VIIC entry. To view any of the records displayed, click on the registration
Screenshot 14
We have clicked on G VIIC again as the example. You will now notice the add to my wants list is no longer displayed. We will now select add to my records
Screenshot 15
Fill in the relevant information for the MY RECORD section
Screenshot 16
click icon to open calendar displays a handy calendar for correct date entry. When you have entered your information, click the Add record button
Screenshot 17
We now receive a confirmation message the record has been added
Screenshot 18
Selecting either display my records or View my records will now show the record in our list. Again, the print list link is displayed
Screenshot 19
Clicking on the View latest updates now shows an additional icon ‡ displayed in the G VIIC entry. Removing G VIIC from your wants list, will also remove the Δ icon from here
Screenshot 20
Returning to the home page, and searching for VIIC again, will now display the data from the main database and also your MY RECORD. The MY RECORD entry can only be seen by you, and no one else. You can also edit your MY RECORD by clicking on the [ edit ] link displayed next to MY RECORD. If there is information you would like to share with others about this aircraft, click on the [ add note ] link next to the NOTES section
Screenshot 21
The date of entry and your name will automatically be added to the beginning of your note entry. If you do not wish your name to be shown, simply delete it
Screenshot 22
Now when others view the G VIIC record, they will also see your note
Screenshot 23
As a myNMU editor you will also have additional links in the right column
Screenshot 24
Updating a record in the main database can be done using a registration or construction number. Again if more than one record is found, select the relevant record from the list
Screenshot 25
All information, including any notes, can be edited. Notice that the MY RECORD section is not displayed
Screenshot 26
Displays the form for adding new records
